I used the trial version and installed it using your installer.
I then added SComm32 to my VBY project and modified the code to use it. That went smoothly and without incident. I then my VB6 project into an .exe.
I built an installer (using Inno Setup) to install my program which also includes many runtime files including SComm32x.ocx. It installs them all including registering them. No problem, all is running fine BUT I got the regular popup on my bottom right screen about SComm32. So I just purchased the non-trial version and installed it. I recompiled my VB6 project but the popup remained. So...I uninstalled SComm32 (using Windows Control Panel) and reinstalled it using the purchased version. The popups still happen.
What am I doing wrong?

Check your email. Maybe our emails went into your spam folder.
When you install our download it will replace the ocx in the sys 32 folder with the full/paid for version. But it won't automatically upgrade the ocx in your deployment packages.
You need to manually copy the paidfor ocx (v9.1) nto your deployment packages and then rebuild.
